“We begin with the question: “What makes a classic?”
What are the stories we feel compelled to tell over and over again; across generations and cultures? In our work, we endeavor to re-tell old stories for new audiences and find and encourage new voices that contribute answers to age old questions. We believe that, in order to craft these new classics, we need a strong understanding of our past. While we ground our work in intellectual inquiry, we try to maintain the uncensored, joyous artistry of childhood. We believe firmly in providing an environment where early career artists have the opportunity to grow artistically and professionally. From exuberant productions of classic plays to readings of inventive new work, we aim to introduce new generations and new audiences to the joy of live theatre.
